This is to advise you of a temporary change we will be making to all of our advertising.

From May 1 through May 31, any purchase of [our product] will entitle consumers to 50% off the purchase of [strategic alliance partner's] product, and vice versa. All TV and radio commercials and magazine and newspaper ads running during the month of May will include a tag, super, or burst announcing this limited-time promotion. We will resume running the standard versions of all advertising on June 1.

TV and radio commercials have been edited slightly to allow time for the promotional tag; print ads will simply add a burst in the upper right-hand corner. In no case have critical copy points been eliminated.

* Ensure readers that nothing crucial to the overall campaign will be lost when the tags/bursts are put in place.
