Dear [ ]:
It's not just that I'm getting older. I've recently completed my [degree or certificate] in [area] and have a [three-year] track record with [getting internal awards for customer service]. That's why the managers here have recently promoted me to [Senior Sales Associate.]
Although I joke about my new job title, I take my education very seriously. It is an important part of my commitment to providing outstanding customer care. I feel really good about our working relationship. If I can ever do anything to serve you better, please let me know.
Sincerely,

Dear Alumni:
We are pleased to advise you that the search is complete: the Board of Trustees has announced the appointment of Richard Harrison as the university's twenty-fourth president, succeeding Patricia Carroll who tendered her resignation earlier this year.
Dr. Harrison, as many of you know, has been with the university for fifteen years, most recently serving as Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences. Prior to joining the University, Dr. Harrison was Professor of Archaeology at Eastern State College. He received his Doctorate from Western State University in 1971.
Please join me in congratulating Dr. Harrison on his well-deserved appointment.
Sincerely

Dear [ ]:
[He's not a bird or a plane, but a pilot.] This is but one of the many interesting things you can learn about our new [sales representative, Michael Golden], when he calls on you.
In addition to [flying twin-engine airplanes, Mike] has an excellent track record for providing clients the information they need. [He was previously a representative for Comp Repairs Unlimited and also volunteers his time with the United Way.]
We know you're going to enjoy meeting and working with [Mike]. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call.
Thank you for your continued business.
Sincerely,
